A free option you can also check out are public places such as your local library. Although not as popular as it was a decade ago, it is still a great resource to be around other people, read books and surf through magazines.

You can even pretend to be a tour in your own community. Perhaps you might discover something new or see something you never noticed before.

Many communities and cities have farmer markets during the weekend where you can find dozens of amazing grown produce. Not only is the food delicious, but you will encounter a variety of people you can talk to. If it is your first time going to a farmer market, go to the information booth where they can inform you about coupons, deals and special offers.

Beach

A free option that is a personal favorite is the beach. There, you can rest and relax while watching the sunset. If you have a dog, you can take them there to play in the water and dig in the sand.

Downtown

If you live in an area that has bars, clubs or a nightlife, we recommend checking it out even if you are not familiar with the area. One of the best advantages of going out to venues that serve alcohol is that it becomes easier to befriend people. People usually bond or connect over a drink so if you know of any, don’t be afraid to check it out.
